Adhering to rediscovered values, this Lavazza campaign carries the words of Charlie Chaplin’s “Speech to Humanity” in the 1940 film The Great Dictator — words that remain poignant after some eighty years. The campaign marks an important chapter in brand communication with strong content, a high-impact creative approach and contemporary language that interprets and promotes universal values. All of which are integral to the brand’s vision.
The campaign video features historical images made by Steve McCurry, Dennis Stock and Jérôme Sessini of the Magnum Photos agency, and is set against the tones of “Rain, in Your Black Eyes” by Italian musical legend Ezio Bosso.
